| 11 июня в ЮАР стартует чемпионат мира по футболу 2010 года. Первый матч между сборными ЮАР и Мексики пройдет на стадионе Soccer City в Йоханнесбурге. На этой же арене 11 июля состоится финальная игра первенства планеты. Кроме того, матчи ЧМ-2010 будут проходить еще на девяти стадионах. Портал UW представляет фотогалерею арен Мундиаля.

| Главные тренеры команд В чемпионате мира примут участие 32 команды, в каждой из которых есть человек, несущий основную ответственность за результат. Фраза "выигрывает команда, проигрывает тренер" на первенствах плаенты приобретает особую актуальность. Жизнь такова, что медалей на всех не хватит, и кому-то из наставников после ЧМ-2010 придется уйти. При этом тренеры команд, игравших в финале чемпионата мира 2006 года (Италии и Франции), уже объявили о своем уходе после турнира в ЮАР. Марчелло Липпи сменит Чезаре Пранделли, а Раймона Доменека - Лоран Блан. Для Липпи и Доменека ЧМ-2010 - шанс уйти победителями. Главный тренерский вопрос чемпионата мира - работа Диего Марадоны на посту наставника сборной Аргентины. Пока дон Диего является подтверждением правила о том, что выдающиеся футболисты не всегда становятся великими тренерами. Как бы там ни было, скучно с Марадоной не будет никому. Другие традиционные претенденты на золото чемпионата имеют квалифицированные тренерские кадры. Испанцы рассчитывают на Висенте Дель Боске, бразильцы - на Дунгу, немцы - на Йоахима Лева, англичане - на Фабио Капелло, португальцы - на Карлуша Кейруша, голландцы - на Берта ван Марвейка.
